Easy drinker. Good value. I recommend for someone new to bourbon or drinking neat on a hot day. I get a little red licorice on the nose. Light, sweet, fruity with a little hay, mint, oak, and spice on the tongue. Great flavor, but the intensity is set to about 6/10, so I wouldn't add water

You need to stick with it a while. It took me several tastes to get past the intense wood and cocoa powder. Now it's more baking chocolate with a little pear/cherry sweetness that all dries out quickly with tannins leaving a long dry finish. Perfect as a dessert drink. The gold standard for finished bourbons

I can definitely taste a little more age than the average rye. Complex flavors, but not too intense. Notes of hay, rye, anise, molasses, wood, darker fruits and a hint of mint

Delicious and unique. Lighter tasting, but not watered down or boring. Caramel, wood, flowers, apple, pepper. Finishes sweet, but dry. Similar profile to Four Roses Small Batch, but a little drier and maybe a little less rye notes
