Recommended this as I was looking for a higher proof toasted bourbon. Not toasted, i believe but this is pretty damn close. Doesnt have the traditional marshmallow notes i expect in a toasted but the rich sweetness and smooth spikes is wonderful. Finish is short neat, but with a whiskey stone its lengthens deliciously!

Incredibly rich, dark fruit, soft spikes for 120ish proof. Vanilla nose is replaced with sweet spice aroma think fruit pie and the oak brings everything together. Over a large cube or as a julep, its amazing. First product I ever had from Watershed. Visited the Distillery to sample the rest of their selection and easily replaced High West as my favorite brand.

Bought this hoping it'd be similar to the 6yr Barrel strength release. Not nearly as rich and flavorful, (obviously) but the light fruitiness makes for an interesting pour.

Never been a big fan of wheat/wheated bourbon, but decided to try and glad I did. Really soft, some semblance of spice, and the traditional bourbon notes are dialed in. Apart of my daily sippers!

Oddball. Neat the nose says rye with light smokiness. First sip is a blend of herbal and floral rye with more prominent peat smoke flavor. Drop of water: all the same flavor but sweet and a mouthfeel like syrup.

Surprising dram. I wasn't expecting incredible stuff (MGP's rye) but its potent rye flavor up front with a short, mildly dry finish. I get what people mean by oily, but a drop of water brings more flavor yet maintains the mouthfeel.

Unique. Traditional rye spice is mostly on the nose, soft yet smoky single malt taste smooth alcohol.

Floral, rye spice and tobacco on the nose. Like really. Faint sweet and earthy cigarillo, different, but enjoyable. Perceived sweetness and this brightness (think pickles but not acidic) that overshadows the spikes of alcohol.

Nose is better than the palate IMO. Better with two drops of water and opened up for 3-5 minutes i think really smooths it out. Expected a 12 year to be relatively smooth anyways.
