Meaty and unctious like a nice steak! A sublime whisky!

It's nice, but the elegance of the grain and the triple distillation is spoilt by too much oak, it becomes less subtle, less elegant and... more expensive.

The first bourbon that I actually enjoyed, it's elegant and sweet, smooth and balanced between corn, rye and barley.

The first ever Irish whiskey that I enjoyed. Dry, spicy, fruity with an amazing oily texture. The transition from oily Irish flavours to rum is impressively subtle.

I tried this in Japan and adored it! I have never had a whisky like it since. Fresh, herby, tasting of springtime fruit and a forest freshness. I realise it's the no age statement, but even this young version is amazingly complex.

Sublime! An incredible mix of Scottish barley, creamy French oak and rich, seductive, spicy Japanese mizunara oak! A compelling whisky!

Fruity, yummy, smoky! A round, delicious, wine-like, delicate whisky with such an elegant peat and delicious, sherry notes. Few whiskys have such a tender, comforting taste, with the brash Miyagikyo and the soft, watery, mineral Yoichi sitting side by side, completing each other. One to recommend!

It's great... but it's too sweet, the malted barley and grain mix in Nikka from the Barley is far better, more mature and complex, but this drink is still worth a try.

I learnt to love whisky thanks to this tasty drink! Try it!

I love this bourbon... but it has a crazy amount of strength, spice and attitude, it really stands out.
