Rich, soft, full, well-rounded. Best balanced Islay I've had, smooth and drinkable. Far more of a smoked bacon umami vibe than a charcoal smoke. Nice and long lasting.

Lovely balanced peaty nose. Smoky, full bodied, some sweetness fruit and spice in there. Not sure it's perfect, but really different and very nice! Also, really balances out the strong alcohol.

Nice sweet nose on this, light caramel some soft spice coming through. Vanilla? Nice fullish body to it, sweet at first, rounds out but not totally smoothly. Plenty of nice spice going on lingers well on the palette. Very drinkable!

Proper Laphroaig this! Super smoke on the nose, some hints at something smoother underneath. Super rich, really full bodied. Medicinal, peaty Laphroaig taste first, but layers of flavours and even some smoothness after. Smoke and alcohol linger after. Banging.

Lots of fruit and caramel. Smooth and easy drinking!

Sweet honey and some floral notes on the nose. Smooth whisky, rounded caramel qualities, lots of spice and good fruit (almost banana qualities?), Smokey notes too. Full flavour, long smooth aftertaste.

Obvious massive peat on the nose, but refined and soft for the strength of alcohol. Spice, some licorice and medicinal notes. Wonderful full taste, rich, rounded, spicy. Super strong smoke and peat aftertaste, but what else did you expect? Actually very drinkable at full strength, but a little water really opens it up.

Great example of Irish pot still. Vanilla, little fruit and spice. Super smooth, very drinkable.

Strong peat and smoke on the nose. Sweet, well rounded, oily, full, bit of fruit I think? Definitely needs water. Really like this one!

Lots of honey and caramel on the nose, a little citrus too. Big flavour in the front of the mouth, toffee, sugar, but not too sweet. Some rum like qualities, vanilla, molasses. Great go-to Scotch!
