Octomore 06.1/167 Scottish Barley
Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandTastedThis has to be the heaviest peated whiskey I have ever had. While super intense smoke, also incredible smooth. Found it to be briny, but there was a subtle sweetness to it as well.Sullivan's Steakhouse
Glenmorangie Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedReally nice scotch. You can definitely taste the Sherry aging but it is balanced nicely by the spiciness of the back end. Definitely heavy berry notes along with cinnamon and Christmas spice.
Basil Hayden's Dark Rye
Other Whiskey — Multiple CountriesTastedSmooth, velvety mouthfeel with plum and dark fruits dominating. The rye spiciest you would expect is mild and does help mellow the sweetness of the whiskey. Overall, it is good but unremarkable.
