Well balanced. It has that mild sweetness of honey at the start. Cinnamon and chocolate round it out.

This one has a sweet nose. Caramel and vanilla jump start the palate followed quickly by chocolate. There is some black pepper that balances out the flavor profile. This one goes down smooth any time.

A nutty aroma. A complex mix of chocolate, honey and caramel with a little smoke. A little coffee in the finish balances it well.

Smooth and sweet with just a bit of spice. Perfectly balanced. This one is always in my cabinet.

Definitely get some pear on the nose. The fruit notes carry through to the initial taste. A spicy chocolate then kicks in and lingers until the finish. This is creamy and rich. The spiciness prevents it from being cloying. A great whisky for an easy price!

Honey and peat on the nose. There is more honey in the taste followed by fruit and spice. There is some peat in the finish. Just enough to make it noticeable and balanced, but not overwhelming.

The nose is sweet. There is a spicy sweet flavor combo that kicks in immediately. Almost a mix of caramel and cinnamon. The middle is buttery and smooth. There is an alcohol burn that lingers through the finish.

Raisin dominates the aroma. The initial taste is smooth butterscotch that drifts quickly into chocolate. The spiciness kicks in at about this point and remains through a medium length finish. Excellent Speyside!

Leather and spice come to the nose. The spice of the rye jumps immediately to the front. It then fades into cinnamon and vanilla before drifting into a finish of citrus fruits and chocolate. There is some alcohol burn with this one. I’m not a huge rye fan but this is one that is worth a taste.

The nose is a blend of oak and something sweet. The taste is vanilla, brown sugar and cherry. There is a little cinnamon in the finish that prevents it from being cloying. The mouthfeel is the perfect thickness. I could drink way too much of this!
