App: Deep Caramel. Nose: Peanuts 🥜, caramel, vanilla, little bit of syrup, 🍌’s. Palette: Caramel and oaky. Strong as it’s 50%, but it’s better neat. Finish: Caramel and vanilla. Typical bourbon but better.

App: Golden Amber Nose: Honey 🍯, burnt apple 🍎, mild peatiness 💨 Palate: honey, syrup texture, tropical fruit more than 🍎. Maybe 🍍? Definite smokiness but not like an islay. Finish: strong 💪🏼 you feel the smoke for a while after you swallow. Verdict: A better tasting, more complex,more islay-styled JW black label.
