I am pretty impressed for the age and the price. Very tasty and easy drinking. Slight sense of a young whiskey but very well done and priced right. It a tad sweet which I enjoy. I will definitely grab another and look forward to the cask strength and future releases. This will be amazing in a few years.

Kilchoman USA Small Batch No.1
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 11, 2022 (edited September 16, 2022)I haven’t had a bad Kilchoman yet. This one is no exception. Their smoke and peat is wonderful and almost everything they do has a hint of sweetness. This one is a little honeyed and oak. But still the smoke is there. I will slowly buy every Kilchoman I can put my hands on. -

Aberfeldy 21 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 29, 2022 (edited August 1, 2022)Extremely rich and weighty with some sweetness. Pretty complex and well balanced with a nice smoky, skunky funk on the finish. A tad overpriced but still an excellent pour. -
Kilchoman Fino Sherry Matured (2020 Edition)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed January 14, 2022 (edited July 29, 2022)Kilchoman never disappoints. I absolutely love the variety coming out of this distillery and this is no exception. Not a huge peat bomb and the sherry is very restrained but it’s definitely there. Outstanding!
