Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed April 9, 2022 (edited September 3, 2022)Really nice, the description is very accurate you can definitely taste the Laphroaig but the kiss of sherry is a great addition. Great nose and a great color. Very enjoyable. -
I thoroughly enjoy peat. I really enjoy Bruichladdich. So this should blow me away right? Not so much. It’s a very well made and enjoyable pour and at $100-$150 USD I am pretty satisfied. Great smoky bbq ash peat and a nice touch of sweetness. It is nice. I am just not feeling the $250 price tag. Maybe I am missing something. For my money I’d grab 2 Kilchomans any day of the week. Glad I got to experience this one but probably won’t be a buyer again.
