Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 20, 2021 (edited October 28, 2021)This is damn solid. Smooth and light overall. Nice sweet cherry scent, a little woody taste. Light Honey and some vanilla on the aftertaste. Excellent and smooth flavor. It’s got a short life after you swallow but it’s very clean. It’s a $25 bottle that tastes like a $50. A permanent addition to the cabinet. Barrel 600. 2013 vintage.25.0 USD per Bottle -
Maker's Mark Cask Strength
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 6, 2021 (edited October 20, 2021)Cask 21-04. Very spicy and sweet up front. Long flavor after and warm but smooth. Good slow sip. Not much burn for the high proof. Could use a little more fruity twist but overall it’s a great bottle for $35-ish. Welcome to the rotation.35.0 USD per Bottle -
Glenlivet 15 Year French Oak Reserve
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed July 31, 2021 (edited November 15, 2021)Excellent vanilla scent and right up front. Very sweet and oak flavor. A little bit of water opens this up and gives it a great long flavor. My go to scotch for a reason; each bottle is different but always has a great flavor. Sweet vanilla smoke.
