Bought this based on other reviews here and it is now a solid favorite. Expensive at $90, but I'm planning on buying a couple bottles to store in case they stop making it. This dram is like a bomb for your taste buds. A crescendo for a good Islay flight. Such a balance of sweet, peat and heat, my favorite combination.

Laphroaig 10 Year Cask Strength (Batch 1)
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 15, 2017 (edited August 16, 2017)I like to drink this while watching the Loot Train scene from Game of Thrones to help me empathize with all those soldiers the dragon burnt to ash. -
My favorite bourbon to take hiking...good ABV%/weight trade-off. Beyond that, I find it delicious. Hot, woody, spicy, in your face. I don't think it's the most delicious bourbon out there or anything, but it's an experience. Water opens it up, but there's something that just feels right about sipping it neat and feeling all that spicy warmth flood my mouth and sinuses. I prefer Scotch most of the time, and the thought of paying Scotch prices for bourbon these days is a bit off-putting, but for Booker's I make an exception.
