This review is for the Hart Brothers Benriach 15 first port pipe filled, from K&L. Nose: Very sweet, grapes, cognac, strong port. Body: thick, viscous, smooth Finish: very sweet, long finish. more grapes. I like this, although it's one dimensional. If I had tasted this blind, I could have been convinced it was actually port (albeit super high proof). Reminds me of the Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, which is a better value.

Hart Brothers 17 Year Sherry Finish
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed January 28, 2022 (edited February 9, 2022)This was only $60 so I was a bit suspicious given the age statement, but bought it anyway. Disappointing. The nose has toffee and sweet pancake syrup notes along with signs of the harshness to come, like nail polish remover and Elmer's glue. Body has a medium viscosity but the harshness of the afterfinish intrudes quickly. Would not but again. -
Glen Garioch 10 year (Old Particular)
Single Malt — Highland, Scotland
Reviewed January 28, 2022 (edited August 18, 2022)Lemon pepper poundcake, Elmer's glue, farmy, with a very creamy body. Spicy/tingly end to the mouthfeel due to the ABV, but not harsh. Long finish. Great value at $55. Will definitely buy another if they get them next year.
