    Masthouse Whisky offers a bold balance of apple, oak, and peppery spice, with a slightly harsh edge and an unexpected hint of cucumber. It looks extremely light on the eye.

    While generally people say it’s fruity, I think it’s deceptive on the nose. It tastes bitter, oily and tannic - with hints of honey. I would say this is a very acquired taste.

    A very unique pour. Extremely sweet notes with cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg - all combined into a unique spice. Made from their beer mash and you can really feel the difference.

    A light whiskey - biscuit and apricot notes. It’s not bad, it’s just not impressive at all. Better used with a mixer.

    It’s a light whiskey which has notes of maple and a strong hint of coffee. Personally, I think RB 12 is far superior.
