First Tasting w/ice cube Usually don’t care for ryes, But as with four roses small batch, this one is really good. Very smooth, and finish is nice

I liked it on the first sip, and it got better. Was solid neat, but one cube of ice opened it up more. Sweet but not overly, really has all the traditional bourbon flavors in there, with a nice finish. Could definitely spend some time with this one! Tried with a little coke and ..... no! Kinda just killed the flavor and became blah. Either neat or a lil water and this is a nice bottle to keep around

Neat - Similar to Michters at first, but finishes smoother. It opened up more over one cube of ice. I like it, cool bottle story to have on the cabinet

It’s definitely a cool addition to the collection, as it has a unique flavor. Neat - Sweet but not the caramel flavors your used to. Had a smooth finish. Coke splash - nope. Definitely a sipper

Neat - Hits a little spicy at first, then sweet,, decent finish. Have to be honest, it’s good but it wasn’t anything special to me. I’ll try it again later.

Third tasting Barrel # Quick review, loved my first tasting, disappointed the second time. Third one brought it it back, in fact this one is the best neat bourbon I’ve had yet! Only reason I do t give it the 5, is that I haven’t had the opportunity to taste several of the rare finds, but this is the standard so far for me. Just the right amount of sweet, and burn. Smells fantastic too. Tasted neat

Strange review but ..... Neat & over ice cube - very smooth, sweet with nice flavors, but nothing special per say With a Splash of Coke & Ole Fashion - this is where this bourbon shines! It became very dangerous. Maybe one of my favorite mixers, right there with Weller. Ole Fashioned-This will stay on my shelf as long as I can find it. It’s my favorite mixer and at a steal of a price

First taste over ice cube: very similar to buffalo trace (and that’s a compliment). A little more body and oakyness than BT. I dig it.
