Tastes of orange, vanilla and leather. Overall, not my favorite and won’t buy again but would try other offerings.

I really like the Ezra brooks 99 but this tasted like fingernail polish remover. One of the more disappointing purchases I’ve made.

I dont know if it’s the best bourbon out there but it’s the best bourbon out there that i can get my hands on without winning a raffle.

It’s the quintessential for people that want a “smooth” sipper. If I’ve had other bourbons for a few nights before, it’s not my favorite. If I haven’t had anything in a few days, it’s a pretty nice starter. The port finish isn’t as strong as some other similar finished bourbons and for me, that’s a good thing.

I’ve really enjoyed most port finished bourbons but this was a massive disappointment. It’s tastes like chemicals.

Good but pretty harsh. A couple drops of water opened it up nicely. If you have your pick between this and the regular uncut unfiltered, I’d spend the extra $20 bucks on that.

It’s just better after a few weeks and it opens up. And kudos to WT/Russell’s for having an easily accessible ten year bourbon when Eagle rare is nowhere to be found.

Absolutely phenomenal. It’s become a keeper with a need to always have a backup bottle. Caramel and cherries. Also makes a magnificent old fashioned.

As someone who loves barrel proof bourbons, this is over the top. Smells only like ethanol and the taste is as hot as the nose is strong.

It’s fine. For the money, I would buy this at retail any day of the week. However the idea that this goes for $139 on secondary is absurd. There is a difference between being good and being special. This is good. I actually felt it had a slight metallic taste but I only sampled one pour.
