Just a well balanced bourbon offering. Drinkable. Noses sweet, oak warm and vanilla, with a sharp baking spice note that finishes with a gentle heat and oak-sweetness. I believe it’s consistent with -a bourbon profile that most love.

This noses with the anise and dill super heavy, which makes sense for an MGP profile. Appreciate the baking spice as well. Hits the palate a bit thin (smooth?) but with the rye spice up front with a black pepper and dill finish. Really tasty and a great offering from high west at the price point.

Noses sweet, vanilla and candy corn, hits the palate sweet with caramel notes, toasted marshmallow and some sweet oakiness and lingering heat to finish. Really a great bourbon for after dinner as a dessert, added a few drops of water to open up the sweetness.

Noses very sweet, with oak and vanilla, typical bourbon notes on the palate that opens up into more warm citrus notes. A very good whiskey that has the oak aged profile of an age statement. Opens up with a few drop of water for me.

Noses very sweet and toffee, light vanilla, hits the palate with sweetness, a light burn followed by heavy oak and rounded cinnamon notes, the oak and spiciness keeps going and lingers. Very unique enhancement of the sweetness and oakiness of the woodford profile.

Noses with some light spiciness and spice, fruity but it’s actually nothing very prominent. Starts with a sweet ethanol burn with some vanilla and citrus, finishes with baking spices, rye spiciness and a MGP dill-note. Have heard there were additives in this, but the overall experience is not bad for those who wish to dabble in the realm of ryes. Wish this were a higher proof.

Noses grain and a bit of smoke, starts with butterscotch, smoky oak and vanilla notes, finishes with a little smoke and cinnamon. Tastes close to a bourbon, but with the nikka backbone of flavors.

Nose is sweet and rye spices. Starts with rye and and spice, backbone is peaty. Finishes with umami, saltiness and sweetness... will agree that the tasting notes shift over the course of a dram, with water too.

Noses sweet and spicy, begins very spicy and cinnamon like, rye. Finishes with more sweetness and vanilla, spiciness tapers.

Noses with light coconut and citrus, starts oaky and a slight grape skin feeling, vanilla notes and finishes malty, grainy, moderate burn.
