I never thought I will enjoy peated malt that much! From the moment of the first sip it generates pleasant warm waves in your body. For me this is the best peated whisky and one of the best sherry. Interesting how peat and sherry notes makes each other better creating a perfect harmony. The cask strength is also is also something that you wouldn't like to miss in this picture.

Glenmorangie The Original 10 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 17, 2019 (edited April 8, 2019)My biggest disappointment until now. I saw that it got the score of 93 on whisky advocate site and run to by a bottle to taste. I am a fun of Glenmorangie. The Nectar d'or and Bacalta (which are underscored on advocate) are ones of my favorites. But this one...! Ugh... Hardly believe that it is 10yo. It feels like apricot juice mixed with vodka. I simply don't understand why it is so highly reviewed. Starting to suspect that either something wrong with my bottle or there is a big degradation in the newest release - the box has renovated design - different from what I used to know.35.0 USD per BottlePaneco.co.il -
Being not a sherry finish fun, this is one I enjoyed the most of all the sherry. Didn't own the bottle but tried it over a new year night at my friend's home. The sherry character is not too strong - that what made it more enjoyable for me. It seems to me that I am becoming a big fan of Balvenie - the 14 YO Caribbean Rum Cask is my top favorite meanwhile.

After so sweet and rich Glenmorangie Bacalta and Nectar d’or this one is quite disappointing. Very little nosing if any. Tastes quite sweet and sherry but I found it neither reach nor full-bodied. Rather too smooth and too light so there is nothing distinguishable - just another sherry finished NAS for overpriced travellers collection. I would prefer another bottle of Auchentoshan Three Wood instead. I would expect more from Glenmorangie.70.0 USD per Bottle
