I am tasting vanilla/honey/spice. There is some oily character to the whiskey, but really it's a thin flavor throughout. I think it's OK for what it is, especially at the proof point, but if you want something this thin I would buy a Japanese whiskey instead.

A nice sweet wheated bourbon. Only pay for this if it's retail, which only sets me back around $23. Definitely worth it for that price.

First off this brings noticeably more heat than 46. Maybe I got a lemon though because for whatever reason the first thing that hits me every single time is WAX. I didn't drop any in the bottle I promise, but it's definitely there. Still, 46 is a good product and maybe if I grabbed a different bottle I would like the barrel proof so much more.

In comparison to 46. Not a big enough different to specifically hunt this down. But if you happen to be at the distillery, might as well pick this guy up.

I like it, but not worth it. I did a blind between this, classic, and a 46 barrel proof. The 46 I could pick out every single time, but between 101 and classic it was a coin toss, so I wouldn't go out of my way to hunt this. With that being said I still ended up buying 3 bottles, so maybe I'm full of s***.

Big fan of 46. This bottle brings on strong corn notes as well as the sweetness you typically get from Makers.

Big Maker's guy, but to be honest if you're going to buy a bottle I would just skip this guy and go for the upgrades that are 46 and barrel proof.

Just a good wheated bourbon. For the mid $30 price tag there are no complaints.

Really excellent for the price. It's a sweeter lighter offering than some of the other WT products. In a similar price point, Rare Breed if you're looking for a strong drink and Russell's if you want to take it easy.

Just a standard rye. Not bad for the price.
