Tastes

Soft nose; toffee, oak, peach, vanilla, sawdust, grass, corn. Weak palate, oak, hints of baker’s chocolate, black pepper, and white sugar, ash. Ashy, short, burnt finish.

Nose: banana bread, charcoal, vainilla, white chocolate, lemonade. Palate: very smooth, but the flavors are very watered down and weak; charcoal, banana, cherry. Weak.

Nose of rye, vanilla, caramel, toast, apple. Palate mild, toast, caramel, rye.

Obviously a gimmick, but it was a gift, so here goes… Nose: rubber, corn, cardboard, tar, faint mint. Palate: minimal flavor, corn, barrel char, and water. No finish. If the person who gifted this to me sees this it’s a 5. @twostal 😳

Sherry, crème brûlée, apricot, orange peel, vanilla nose, figs. Rich and sweet on the palate, vanilla, figs, sherry, slight oak, slight pepper.

Nose of green grass, rye, corn, oak, cinnamon, green cardamom, and pisco. Tastes sweet and green, of cherry, grass, grape jelly, baking spices, peach, vanilla, confectioner’s sugar. Lingering spice at the finish. It’s young. Started out smelling like grass and unaged brandy, and although it did develop some character after a few minutes, it remained quite green. On the palate it’s quite different, still green, but mostly sweet and fruity and rich. Odd. @twostal
