    Nose is butterscotch, smoke (although less than I expected), ham,and a touch of citrus. Taste is a smooth and complex blend of peat smoke, black pepper, slight sweetness, and seaweed. Finish is fairly hot with smoke and brine.

    Absolutely delicious gin. Nose is classic citrus and juniper with an addition of spice. Taste is spicey, juniper, light citrus, and bitterness. Finish is butter juniper. I imagine this is even better in a gin and tonic.

    Shots with my dad. Having a taster to be fair. Nose is ethanol, honey sweet, and “whiskey-notes” Taste is sweet and hot up front, then fades to a spicey, citrus, sweetness. Finish is sweet and sour. This liquor definitely works to keep you warm in the hoary north. Not a supper but I can appreciate the shot.

    First time I have ever sipped a rum, I will do my best on the tasting notes. Nose is ethanol, brown sugar, and tropical fruit. Taste is fairly dry and astringent, a little spice, and more fruitiness. Finish is short but has some fruity sour and a bit of brown sugar.

    Definitely a rye. Spice and a touch of fruit in the nose. Taste is spicey, oak, and light vanilla sweetness. Finish is long for the 98ish proof. Dry and spicey.

    Nose is oak, raisins, brown sugar, and pepper. Taste is dry sweetness, oak, black pepper, and dried fruit. Finish gets even dryer with hints of leather.
