Super solid, especially for the proof.

Good, not great. Worth the SRP, but do not pay over it.

This batch saved 2021 for ECBP. This is still lower proof for the line, but the flavors are off the charts. Vanilla, oak, honey, caramel, toffee, cherry, leather…its all there. C batches seem to be solid year after year.

Fantastic. Bold flavors of everything you’d want in a wheated bourbon. Much improved over prior iterations. Perhaps larceny has finally hit its stride?

Young, thin and has a fairly strong ethanol bite on the finish. Not terribly complex either. Its ok, but this should probably age another 2-3 years before being worth $55 usd.

Oily and thick on the palate. Honey, vanilla, fruit-forward. The heat is minimal for the proof and oak is pleasant on the backend. Excellent batch.

Hit or miss but generally decent for the price. If you can find a well-aged 9+ bottle you’re probably going to be lucky. Shortly after the relaunch a lot of older barrels came out, but now most are right around 7 years.

I love bookers. The 2018-03 got me started on my bourbon journey. This new batch is so off-profile and…wrong. Its bitter with the taste of ethanol, but no real heat. Not much peanut, I’d say weak cinnamon and strange herbal notes on the finish. The price increases and the hit or miss batching is literally killing bookers as a brand. Looks like its back to knob creek for me…
