Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Texas, USAReviewed December 13, 2021Super solid, especially for the proof.
Remus Repeal Reserve Series V (2021 Medley)
Bourbon — Indiana , USAReviewed November 30, 2021 (edited December 11, 2021)Very happy with this one. Well worth the money. Tasting notes in this review are spot on.
Booker's Bourbon Batch 2019-01 "Teresa's Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed November 13, 2021Good, not great. Worth the SRP, but do not pay over it.
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C921
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed November 11, 2021 (edited November 13, 2021)This batch saved 2021 for ECBP. This is still lower proof for the line, but the flavors are off the charts. Vanilla, oak, honey, caramel, toffee, cherry, leather…its all there. C batches seem to be solid year after year.
Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A121
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed October 13, 2021 (edited March 31, 2022)Fantastic. Bold flavors of everything you’d want in a wheated bourbon. Much improved over prior iterations. Perhaps larceny has finally hit its stride?
New Riff Single Barrel Barrel Proof Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed September 28, 2021Young, thin and has a fairly strong ethanol bite on the finish. Not terribly complex either. Its ok, but this should probably age another 2-3 years before being worth $55 usd.
Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 15
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed July 4, 2021Oily and thick on the palate. Honey, vanilla, fruit-forward. The heat is minimal for the proof and oak is pleasant on the backend. Excellent batch.
Baker's Single Barrel Bourbon 7 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed June 26, 2021Hit or miss but generally decent for the price. If you can find a well-aged 9+ bottle you’re probably going to be lucky. Shortly after the relaunch a lot of older barrels came out, but now most are right around 7 years.
Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-02 "Tagalong Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed June 26, 2021 (edited July 2, 2021)I love bookers. The 2018-03 got me started on my bourbon journey. This new batch is so off-profile and…wrong. Its bitter with the taste of ethanol, but no real heat. Not much peanut, I’d say weak cinnamon and strange herbal notes on the finish. The price increases and the hit or miss batching is literally killing bookers as a brand. Looks like its back to knob creek for me…
Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed June 16, 2021ECSB with more spice and oak.
