Tastes

This is really good. Glad I didn’t pass it up. Really get a ton of apple and fruit on the nose and pallet. The finish is nice for a 92 proof.

This is decent. A little disappointed, but overall not bad. Nose is very floral, pallet is sweet, with some rye spice, and a bit of oak. Finish is hood. I much prefer OWA to this, but overall it is fairly solid.

This stuff is really quite good. I wouldn’t say I’m really big in the barrel proof scene, but maybe I could be. I also don’t really care for anything Jack Daniel’s, but this is a different story. Nose: I get a lot of banana. It’s really sweet but not overpowering for the proof. Pallet: this is where this shines in my opinion. It’s like candy. It’s like buttery caramel up front and then it gets really hot. Finish: is long and ok I guess. It’s really hot. I imagine this will be great on ice.

I have to say: Wow! I’ve heard good things and this did not disappoint.

Posted prematurely. This is good. I’ve heard good things so figured I’d give it a try. Nose I get some sweetness but definitely spice. Pallet is pretty hot. I get a little bit of caramel at the end. Definitely oaky as well. This finishes nice. Very nice. So many flavors - super good bourbon for around $50.

Cool story. A decent amount of flavor. Not a bad hitter for a low proof.

A little disappointed, but perhaps that was because I tried this after a cask strength bourbon which was great. Will give it another try in the future, but overall this was pretty average.

Very solid choice. Tried it at the local Winking Lizard. A real sleeper in my opinion.
