Tastes

This bourbon is quite different than the 10 and 14 year siblings. First. It presents with a very spicy front taste with hints of vanilla. The finish is long with after taste of oak. I prefer the 10 year bourbon or the 14 year bourbon from the Widow Jane line up.

Excellent smell of vanilla, oak, and cinnamon. Taste is similar with a very nice finish. Great bourbon if you can find it!

Very defined oak smell at first glance. Once you get past that you will notice a very sweet smell reminiscent of molasses. Oak remains present in taste and perhaps spice and leather. Finish is long and warm.

Overall very good bourbon. Soft notes of vanilla and oak. Soft texture and smooth drinking.

Good drinking bourbon. Very smooth. Lacks the character of some of your higher end bourbons.

Lacking much fragrance it is surprisingly smooth. Good drinking bourbon but lacks some of the character top bourbons have.

Subtle hints of vanilla and caramel. Aroma of aged oak from the glass. Overall wonderful bourbon if you can find it.
