Definitely good. Lots of spice and big Kentucky hug. Expected a bit better balance with more sweetness and better finish. Definitely a slow sipper. There are much better ryes at a lower price point, but still glad to have it in my collection.

Getting some similar flavors to Willett. Lots of spice and heat on this one.

Good flavor, but low proof. Not a lot of complexity.

This is great for the price. Tastes like it has a higher than typical rye mix in the mashbill. Great flavors for under 100 proof. Lots of sweetness and oak from the barrel. Solid. The Uncut Unfiltered is even better.

Nice flavor, but despite being 105 proof, it seems watered down.

Tastes like Johnny Drum mixed with something else that it shouldn’t be. Leaves unpleasant flavor on the finish with some bitterness.

This is the best bottle I’ve opened in recent memory. Love the nose, the complex flavors, the oiliness, and the long finish. It will be a sad day when I finish this bottle.

I’ve been told the 27 year is amazing, which is why I wanted to try this. I’m glad I got a sample of it instead of buying a bottle. Tastes like halfway between a Scotch whisky and a 90ish proof bourbon. Not much flavor nor complexity. More burn than flavor.
