Pretty full-flavored for a blended scotch. Cheaper than Johnnie Red and better in my opinion.

Good, but a little disappointing. Doesn’t stack up to the previous releases, which were 100% sherry cask.

For the money, this actually isn’t bad. Definitely a young, grain-forward flavor profile. But if you like Jim Beam White or Evan Black give this a try. The flavor is comparable and you might even save a few bucks.

I’m generally not much of a rye person but I’m enjoying this one. Fairly dry with the typical herbal notes. Probably a great introduction to rye for people who are new to the category.

Rich and well-aged with notes of spice, brown sugar, cherries, and oak. I knock it down just a little because I’m not quite sure it warrants a $70 price tag

Nice rich notes of Carmel, wood spices, roasted nuts and milk chocolate on the palate. Not overly complex but definitely richer than regular Maker’s.

Sweet corn with a touch of oak spice. A little boring as a sipper but not flawed in any way. Definitely goes well with ginger ale or bitters.
