For the money this is hard to beat. Nose and palate loaded with an assortment of fruits, honey, and barley sugar notes. Marketed as a mixer, but very easy to drink neat.

Basically, you get the spice of a sherries scotch but in a lighter bodied spirit. Decent, but I don’t see it filling a permanent spot on my whisky cart.

Cloves, allspice, tobacco, and orange peel in the forefront. Well balanced and delicious. Flavors are probably too delicate to add much water. Also, don’t pay more than MSRP.

I wanted to like this one more. Mostly bananas, brown sugar, and a little wood spice. This is a single barrel, so I am sure there are better barrels out there.
