Not my favorite. First pour didn’t do anything for me. Half way through the bottle still nothing. Nose is strong maple which nice. I’ve had much better and flavorful high proof bourbons. This coats the tongue but doesn’t add flavor. Slight thanksgiving spices of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium burn and finish. Again, much better higher proof options available.

A little caramel scent on the nose. Taste had a pleasant sweet mouth feel. I pick up caramel and powdered sugar. Finish is mild cinnamon and cherry. Very mild pour but delicious easy drinker.

Smell of chocolate covered bananas. Rich, sweet, fruity on the palate. For being cask strength no burn at all.

At first smell there is zero mistaking that this was finished in port casks. Sweet smell of caramel, toasted marshmallows, and raisins. At 120 proof the heat is unmistakable. However it has a rich mouth feel and the single malt comes through nicely; Sweet, strong, and a bit oaky.

Warms you up quickly. I pick up vanilla and baking spices on the nose. Light on the tongue then the spice and heat rush in. Warm finish that lasts. Added a tsp of water and let it sit for a few minutes. After letting it sit I pick up more fruit and chocolate on the nose. Rich on the tongue. Hints of fruit and buttered toast. Baking spices and heat.

Strong vanilla on the nose. Light and easy with some heat on the long finish. Good for a beginner. Nothing very distinguishable with this pour.

Oh my. This is delicious. Smells of sugar and vanilla. Sweet with a cotton candy smell. Sweet, smooth easy first sip. Light at first then opens to spice and a medium finish with mint and vanilla.
