Uncle Nearest 1856 Tennessee Whiskey (Sourced Whiskey)
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 12, 2021 (edited June 5, 2021)First time trying. Enjoying a glass neat. Nose - vanilla and maple with some spices and light ethanol burn. Taste - some spice up front that quickly leads into some sweet vanilla flavorings. Definitely some char in the spicy tones up front. The finish is rather light, sweet and filled with oak. The vanilla flavoring is very good and a bit unique, but that’s really all this whiskey has to offer. Overall - I got this bottle for a buy one get one deal, so the price was right around 27$. Had a nice and unique vanilla taste to it but other than that it’s lacking depth. This is a good bottle in the 30$ range but the 50-60 range I typically see is high.27.0 USD per Bottle -
Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 5, 2021 (edited March 19, 2021)First time trying. Enjoying neat Nose - bananas, vanilla, oak, fruit notes Taste - nice light sweet beginning. Transition into a thick and rich honey with a oak and spicy finish with some heat. Overall - not impressed. This was supposed to be a premium version of wt101 but I feel like there is no difference here. It’s a good bourbon but the value is not there. Save you some money and buy wt101 instead -
High West Campfire (Discontinued)
Blended American Whiskey — (bottled in Utah), Multiple Countries
Reviewed February 5, 2021 (edited February 14, 2021)First time trying. Enjoying a glass neat. Nose - fruits, smoke, peat, slight sweet smell. Taste - light rich and sugary vanilla up front. Then comes heat and heavy smoke. Tons of smooth burn and very long long smoke that sits on your tongue. Overall - I feel this is a great bourbon especially for someone trying to get into the peat scotches. It’s a great well rounded bourbon a bit on the spicy side -
Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Voyage 20
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed January 26, 2021 (edited May 31, 2021)First time trying a glass neat. Nose - sweet, oaky, salty, sugary sweet. Taste - starts overall very sweet with a sugar overload. Cinnamon, salty sweet treat that ends rather bitter and salty. Overall - personally glad I didn’t purchase this bottle because I feel it’s over priced. The juice is overall good but the 80 plus price point doesn’t justify it. -
Blantons Alabama abc select store pick 2020 review. Enjoying a glass neat. Nose - wow there is an abundance of apples and cherries. Sugar, light oak, and honey. Great nose. Taste - light yet rich up front. Sugar and honey like I get with most Blanton’s. Incredibly smooth and easy to drink. Very lightly spicy but not much. Fruity and sugary sums this one up. Overall - an excellent store pick from the Alabama abc crew in 2020.70.0 USD per Bottle

George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2019)
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 10, 2021 (edited September 13, 2021)2nd time trying the same bottle. Enjoying neat. Nose - caramel apples and an abundance of spices. Also some chocolate and vanilla undertones. Taste - oak, apples, chocolate and some sweet cinnamon. Overall - not near as complex as the 2018 in my personal opinion. The lower proof is not characteristic of the typical George t stagg however this is still an excellent bottle of bourbon that packs a punch of a variety of flavors.120.0 USD per Bottle -
Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon

Reviewed January 10, 2021 (edited February 5, 2021)3rd time trying but first time review. Enjoying a glass neat. Nose - smells incredible and delicious. Wonderful sweet notes throughout. Chocolate, sugar, nutmeg, and lightly fruity. Reminds me of the 2018 GTS or a Woodford double oak. Taste - very rich very full and very sweet. Vanilla, oak, cinnamon, with nutmeg and other baking spices. Overall - a nice sweet treat of a bourbon. Smell is exceptional and the highlight of this bourbon. The taste is very nice and well balanced. Nice easy drinker. A must have.50.0 USD per Bottle -
Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 2, 2021 (edited July 6, 2021)First time reviewing regular wild turkey. Enjoying neat. Nose - vanilla, sugar, oak and char Taste - vanilla, sugar and caramel. Tart and bitter finish that brings out some more oak flavorings. Overall - a nice cheap and decently complex bourbon for what many consider a bottom shelf bourbon.18.0 USD per Bottle -
First time enjoying a glass neat Nose - not much here. There is rye, honey, and some pepper. Taste - very light bourbon. Honey, rye, and peanuts start this one off nicely. There is a pepper and honey at the end. Very sweet bourbon with a nice pepper kicker. Really enjoy but does lack depth. Overall - a nice sweet treat of a bourbon. Pleasantly surprised with this one. Personally don’t care for the label and the bottle. Price is decent around the 35-40 range. Will keep a bottle on my shelf35.0 USD per Bottle

Never reviewed a Woodford reserve regular bottle before. Now is a good time as any. Enjoying a pour neat. Nose - heavy oak and vanilla. Nice char and lightly smokeyness. Taste - nice full and robust. Very well blend of sweet vanilla and the char of the oak barrels with spices. Very drinkable and a lot of typical flavors of bourbon. Overall - always loved the Woodford bottle design and lettering. Huge style points for their bottles. The juice is good not great. Lacks complexity but you get what you pay for.25.0 USD per Bottle
