Fruit on the nose - first thought was cherries...smooth & a bit oily taste and some earthy undertones with a hint of vanilla. Subtle spice on the finish. Don’t think it’s much different than a solid 15/18 year despite it being a 21 but it grew on me as I got into it. This was first pour and will look forward to seeing if it opens up a bit more next time around.

Just opened and trying with a cigar for the first time, so will come back again, but great first impression and nice compliment to a smoke with the sherry cask coming through nicely with notes of fruit and subtle spice and sweet smooth finish.

Wonderful cinnamon spice on the nose - full flavored and reminiscent of French apple pie - vanilla and spice through the smooth finish - definitely did not disappoint and will look forward to enjoying this bottle!

Not bad - relatively smooth, salty and some smoke.

Fruity on the nose - a nice mix of sweet and tart apple on the taste, a hint of cinnamon, spice and nice finish with a vanilla aftertaste. Quite enjoyable with a cigar on a summer evening.

I think this just moved into my top spot for Japanese whisky - sweet and floral on the nose with warm honey taste and and a really smooth overall taste and finish. Really glad I picked this one up.

Very smooth warm vanilla and creamy with subtle spice on the finish. One of my new favorites!

Solid choice - lightly peated - smooth with a touch of vanilla - enjoy this one!
