    Overall: excellent neat (and I'm not a rum fan, generally) Nose: honey Initial: smokey, with moderate honey and molasses tastes Mellows out into a slightly fruity, citrus, yet smokey rum. Lingering: pleasant honey citrus taste

    Sweet and caramel upfront, followed by a strong smokey flavor which convert the brandy from sweet to bitter. The finishing note returns to sweet, pleasant, and soft - with a soft oaky taste.

    Straight: goes in smooth and earthy, with slightly sour plum notes at the end Mixed (fever tree tonic): tonic water changes the profile a bit, it lightens the Gin and amplifies the floral notes. The plum note reduces.

    Neat: Initial notes are sweet (reminiscent of brown sugar) and earthy. Slightly floral. Astringent. Moderate ethanol burn, doesn't leave much in terms of lingering notes. Mixed: lends itself well to mixed drinks. offers a smooth, almost creamy mouth feel. Adds a soft floral component.
