The 10 years evidently does the trick and turns the very standard issue Bulleit into a very serviceable high rye bourbon suited to sipping. Not a game-changer but definitely tasty.

Much fuller flavored and richer than standard JD or Gentleman... a respectable whiskey in its own right.

Good and rich rye flavors but a bit too peppery for me, and I like rye...

Better than expected - pronounced spicy rye and sweet vanilla flavors, fairly rich mouth feel. A tasty high rye bourbon!

Smooth and rich with just enough classic rye spice. It's a nice sipper, but not as good as the price would have you believe. Glad I found a 200ml sample size to try for $30, would have been disappointed to spend $109 on a whole bottle of this.

Very tasty rye - smooth with a good amount of rye spice. Definitely a sipper if you like ryes, almost as good as their 10 year. And yes, it makes a mean Manhattan!

maybe it's just the barrel this came from, but I'm not liking this as much as the sample I tried previously; some stale notes on the pallette; will stick with something more consistent at this price point in the future
