Tastes

Nose is fruity with notes of apricot, golden raisins, hay, toasted malt, a touch of cocoa and a bit of alcoholic sting. Palate consists of notes of apricot and golden raisins accompanied by notes of malt and a bit of spice. Finish is medium in length and dotted with notes of malt, fruit and graham crackers.

Nose consists of plenty of dried fruits. Taste is sweet, full of berry, fruity and chocolate notes, with a moderate oak and spice influence. Finish is rich with a nutty twist. Then sweet, filled with hints of prunes and milk chocolate. A little scorching at the end, with oak bitterness and hot pepper.

Notes explode out of the glass with blueberries and strawberries, honey-drizzled dates, dark orange syrup, and a few drops of vanilla cream. Buried under the wave of spiced sweetness is a subtle peat note that infuses some smoke and earth. Underneath the sweetness and alcohol are some subtle oak and spice that counterbalance the sweetness and provide darkness and mustiness. Noticeable cinnamon and nutmeg spiced chocolate flavors make their way into every corner of my palate as well.

A little bit grassy, with sweet honey and vanilla aromas. Light on the palate, with a medium body. Strong fresh lemon notes, blended with notes of green apples and a touch of banana, but inconsistent.

Butterscotch, vanilla and malty sweetness with light bits of caramel, buttered pastries, fruit and spice. Finish is quite complex, with hints of coconut and chocolate raisins. Has a fruity malt profile. Contains a floral aroma with notes of caramel.

Massive amounts of peat smoke that's complimented by smoky flavors of iodine and seaweed. Consists of a very rich sweetness and a long, elegant finish. Intensely flavored with a bold, punchy complexity. Extremely drinkable that is easy to enjoy.

Hints of fresh-squeezed citrusy lime and green grass. No hints of oak or peat.

Carries that note of raw wood that doesn’t quite scream maturity. Has notes of honey and fruit with a little bit of spice, but needs a bit more maturity to strip out that character.

Flavors of citrus, light wood, lemon, honey syrup with a lovely, zesty acidic quality that evens out all that sweetness. There’s even a toasty nuttiness on the finish. Excellent Irish whiskey that I look forward to restocking.

Rich single malt that combines fruity citrus and caramel with spicy ginger and nutmeg.
