Becoming a huge fan of peat. I love how this burns your mouth like a campfire but as that fades it is incredibly floral and fruity.

Cherry apple sugar sweetness on the nose. On the palate it heavily coats your tongue and a tough oaky-ness sits on the taste buds for the better first half of the taste. The flavor sharply turns through the oak into a velvety berry spice finish. One of the best finishes on a bourbon I have personally tasted.

On the nose, it smells so much more like an aged, blended whiskey than a bourbon. Personally, I am a huge fan of the oak, and the flavor here is nothing short of a face full of it. I would say that I was pleasantly surprised by the unique flavor.

Holy cow! For $20, this takes the cake for my fav. The nose is straight brown sugar and once you get over the bite, the sweetness overwhelms in a grand way!

Zesty citrus with vanilla and spice. Pleasantly sweet and sharp at the same time.

Sweet and fruity, very similar to the Macallan!

Fairly simple. No crazy outstanding notes as far as I can tell other than cinnamon and brown sugar, but that’s bourbon for ya. (I tried this on ice mind you, so next time will be a neat pour)

One of the fruitiest bourbons I’ve had — in a good way! The lack of apparent spiciness on the palate makes this an easy and pleasurable drink with your dinner.
