Got it for just a little over $20, I really enjoy this! The nose is surprisingly sweet and sharp like tequila but it tastes like a Smokey whiskey with hints of agave. Was not sure what to expect, but the great recommendations I heard did not lead me astray!

This is a really good bourbon! Has a much lighter and fruitier taste than I was expecting from the expert review. Very nice flavor with not as much oakiness as some others. It has a unique quality that I really can’t pin down... all I can say is thumbs up

Well done! I love the nose... starts with a sweet spark and leads on into a tray of assorted fruits coated in cinnamon. The taste is incredibly diverse and although it doesn’t coat your mouth in oily flavor, the different notes punch through on separate sips. Very impressed by this and glad I added it to the shelf

Very similar to the rye, but a little more of the typical bourbon barrel char. I feel like the rye has much nicer of a sweet finish whereas this one tastes like a sherry cask whiskey.

Honestly really enjoy this! The sweetness mixed with the heavy malt flavor (I think) is very unique and pleasant. Very smooth as well

Boy have I been waiting to taste this, it’s reputation proceeds it. This has a tough nose on it; I can only describe it as smoke billowing over the ocean. On the first sip it bites hard but more because the fire taste associated with it, not for the proof. As you work through the flavors, it replicates smoking a cigar with the mossy tobacco sitting heavily on the tongue, and you almost feel as if you could puff a couple rings out. Overall, I simply really enjoy this stuff, closest to a 5 star I have gotten on a scotch.

Odd that you can actually taste the bourbon pattern of flavors that come from the barrel. The spicy sweetness tends to hang over into more of the butter and cream in the finish.

Super spicy and full. I definitely get the banana note that people talk about and really appreciate the honey and cinnamon coming through alongside it.

Stays true to the name. Definite classic woodford tendencies but enhanced oak and a sharper tang of sweet honey and cinnamon. Almost maple-caramel syrup behind the fiery oak that stays through the entirety of the sip, very impressed!
