Oh man, this one was reallllly good. The best example so far of maple flavored spice in a drink. If you have the chance to try it, please do.

Quite the introduction to Japanese whiskeys. Loving it so much for the fruity ness. Feel like it’s hard for whiskeys to really pull off the fruit notes, but this does it with elegance.

Classic makers but more flavor! Very glad to have tried this, definitely upped my standard for a wheated bourbon.

Very well rounded. My favorite aspects of this whiskey are the smokiness and the heaviness of it. For the price, you might be hard pressed to find something that gives you the same experience.

Very surprised at this. Went into it expecting a lot more peat flavor, but came out with a much sweeter and thick blend. Also leaves a very unique warm (not like spicy) and not dry feeling in your mouth with a delicious aftertaste of earthy honey.

In one word for the nose... deep. I smell buttery flowers with a hint of tangy-ness. Very thin across the tongue and if I don’t get a decent size sip in, I don’t hardly taste anything. With a bigger sip, the sour tartness of light wood and sweet hay come to the front. Not my style, but I appreciate the aspects of it that I am getting.

Feels incredibly light. In all honesty, not very impressed by the flavor. Almost starts out with a good and sweet whiskey taste, but falls very flat very quickly.

To me, this has a very nice cherry and oak-front taste to it. The thing that is nice about this one in particular though, is that the oak seems to stick around throughout the entire experience. Although it remains oaky, the bourbon style sweetness creeps in on the back half and its very cool to feel it happen on each sip.

For a blended whiskey, this was incredibly sugary. Slightly hard to pick out anything beyond the apparent vanilla, but also surprisingly simple and adequate at the same time. Would recommend trying for the heck of it, but isn’t something I would revisit

Very interesting, in a good way! It really seems that each sip (with a good bit of time in between sips) is quite different! One drink you get citrusy-corn and the next is hot sugar. Will have to give this another go in the future.
