Rebecca Creek Texas Ranger 1823 Blended Whiskey
Blended American Whiskey — Texas, USA
Reviewed May 25, 2020 (edited December 25, 2020)Right off the bat from the nose you can tell this is sweetened. Although a little too sugary for my preference, it is undoubtedly very smooth and pulls off the vanilla and caramel notes that it promises. All in all, pleasantly surprised at the flavor combo, but too sweet to drink regularly. -
Highly underrated bourbon. Probably one of the sweeter ones I have tasted with a very light buttery tone underneath. I think the lower proof actually serves to bring out the classic bourbon flavors and so I would actually prefer this over the white label. Also got a 1.75 L for $20 so that’s pretty unbeatable.

Might be my favorite bourbon so far. This bourbon feels very light when sipped and is just sweet enough to complement the light, almost cinnamon/cloves/gingerbread spice that you taste throughout the middle. Towards the end, the burn definitely comes forward more and eases you down from the sweetness very well.27.0 USD per Bottle

Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt
Blended Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed April 22, 2020 (edited April 24, 2020)First blended scotch for me. Definitely picking up sweet citrus flavors right off the bat and hints of other sweet bits that are hard to place... not at all oily like other scotches I’ve had so the finish feels much lighter. Very easy to drink and I bet it would make really good cocktails! -
Very sweet smell to it and the flavor is little spice and heavy vanilla- pretty short finish, so I find it goes down pretty quick if you want to hold on to the taste. Perfect to sip while outside enjoying a nice spring day. Best thing about it is price and it tastes good to mix up in whichever way your heart desires.
