If you like barrel proof whiskey, I’m not sure if this is beatable. I love all things Wild Turkey so this beats GTS, the best ECBP, Four Roses LE. Only way I could see this not being an all time favorite for anyone is if they don’t enjoy the Wild Turkey flavor profile.

I couldn’t imagine better flavor in 100 proof. Exceptional in all ways. Not challenging in any. Probably the most perfect whiskey imaginable and definitely the most perfect whiskey for someone who has never learned to appreciate barrel proof. 100/100

100% what one would expect and ask for from an ultra aged bourbon. The most leather forward whiskey that I’ve tasted. Any more oak and it may be astringent to the point of turning bad. A special sip that must be contemplated. If you look for the younger sweeter flavor profile, this won’t be your whiskey choice.

Oesk tier 4, 10 years 4 months. One of the best whiskeys I’ve ever tasted. $85 retail and $200ish secondary is a bargain. This beats Willett purple top singke barrels that go for $1000 plus.

Needs more time in the barrel. The flavor is not off putting per se. 2 plus more years and it likely would be a winner. One note sweet. No wood flavor. No depth of flavor at all. Thin. Absolutely no finish.

Very close to perfect for me. S’mores whiskey is how I would describe the flavor. Finish goes on forever. Drinks it’s proof but not overwhelming.

Absolutely perfect in every way. The heavier char on the barrels is definitely present this year and the chinquapin oak adds unique flavor and depth not seen with other bourbons. Perfect proof (108) for neat sipping. Finish lingers to perfection. A+++

Bordering on 4.75 for me. Perfect proof, flavors more lively due to lack of chill filtering. Just the right amount of spice This bottle is a 9 year Kroger Kentucky pick. The stats on this hit a perfect sweet spot for neat sipping imo. If this was Buffalo Trace mashbill 1 flavor profile at 9 years 110 proof and non chill filtered it would be their best bottle under 12 years, imo. This is excellent. I don’t think Wild Turkey could do better with their juice than what they’ve done here.

Simple sweet smooth. I’d take Stagg Jr 9 days out of 10 over this. But in that 10th day when I don’t want to think about what I’m drinking, this or WRDO isn’t a bad option.

I’m a bourbon man but this is good. Obvious peat smoke throughout. A sweet balance on the palate and finish make this quite enjoyable. I typically find scotch off putting. This is far better than most scotch that I’ve tried before. Not sure I’d buy a bottle but I’d quite enjoy being offered this.
