    Incredibly rich and full bodied on the nose with warm sugars, raisins, and baking spices. The palate is just as pleasing. Rich with a bit of an oily texture. The baking spices remain with added hints of dried fruits, finalized by chocolates and hazelnut flavors left on the back of the tongue.

    Rich, buttery, maple roll goodness. Cinammon spices and dark honey spread on wheat toast. The finish is sweet and spicy and lingers and it's wonderful. The hype is real. This bourbon is fantastic. No way I'll pay the near $700 secondary price but I'd stock up at or near retail.

    Nose: citrus, apples, baking spices Palate: pepper, hint of smoke, brine, a bit of sweetness on the finish An interesting dram. Different from anything else I've tried. Enjoyable on occasion. Above average but not overly amazing. Certainly a solid whiskey from the wee Wales.

    Nose: dried fruits - plums, cherries, caramel Palate: baking spices, hints of citrus, rich and full bodied as expected from a Sherry cask. A lovely dram as expected from anything Balvenie. Lookjng forward to the next tasting to expand.

    Nose: honey, vanilla, a hint of the north sea Palate: hints of citrus, spices, and light smoke Very much enjoyed. Knowing the price on this makes it even better. Definitely one I'd have again on my own and at a price I don't mind emptying a bottle in an evening with good friends.

    Nose: dried fruits and honey Palate: apples, nutmeg, cinnamon, a lovely spice One of the best whiskies I've ever had. Cannot wait to buy a bottle to enjoy for years.

    Nose: citrus, vanilla Palate: smooth, not at all spicy, rich and fruity, just a mild hint of smoke. Solid dram out at the bar. Would consider a bottle for the house especially for sharing.

    Nose: maple, oak, sweet and smokey, pinch of salt Palate: rich, light smokiness, fruit and baking spices An absolutely lovely dram as expected from HP. Will try to add this to my collection while still around.
