My favorite Japanese so far. Almost oily buttery on the pallet with a feel similar to a lightly peated scotch. Tastes of butterscotch on the tongue. Good feel and taste. Lingering medium heat that’s heavier than a good scotch but still very enjoyable. Thanks Steve for sharing. I’d buy a pour of this one.62.0 USD per Bottle

This was a good pour. Initially the flavor is full and enjoyable. Peat profile is low but good with little to no smoke. Floral slight fruit tones with a finish that’s a bit longer than it should be. Had an ethanol aftertaste. Still a nice scotch. I enjoyed it for a pour. Would be worth another try for a $30 bottle. Enjoyed the pour with my good buddy Steve.9.0 USD per PourWhiskey Dicks

Templeton Rye 4 Year
Rye — Indiana (bottled in Iowa), USA
Reviewed May 17, 2020 (edited October 15, 2020)Fun to experience a strong rye. Slight sweet rye on the nose. Full feel with more rye tastes, followed by a lingering pepper finish with more rye. Fans of rye bread will really like this one. Thanks Christine. -
Full flavored blend that’s very enjoyable. Very little ethanol taste, extremely smooth. Slight fruity, organic earthy flavor. Smokey oakey goodness and peat delight. More pronounced Smokey peat than single black. Low heat that lingers for a bit makes for a perfect finish. Very nice on a cool day. Mr. Walkers blenders are true masters.45.0 USD per Bottle

Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 17, 2020 (edited May 4, 2020)Full feel up front. You can feel the cherry fruit trying to come out. Carmel bourbon flavor has a medium length finish that ends in the cherry flavor. Nice pour for sure. Thanks Tang!
