Nose- cocoa, vanilla and light leather Palate- mellow medley of caramel, Barrel spice and hint of cherry Finish- is short to medium and is more mellow than the Single Barrel

Another Bourbon with aroma that shines and flavor that just misses really driving it home. Nose- excellent mix of cinnamon spice, oats, Wood & char Palate- a subdued return of the aroma notes but the addition of some vanilla at the end Finish- is short and pleasant but tapers to an interesting dryness. I would buy this but GB products are a bit pricey.

Very good Bourbon that I will have to travel to buy again. Nose- very enticing with charred oak, vanilla & hint of toasted coconut followed by cinnamon/spice (the nose is king) Palate- silky not quite creamy or oily and again vanilla with slight notes of chocolate & nut Finish- short/medium but slightly sweet and very pleasant

No, just no. This is not bad but it’s just not worth being in the standard rotation or even being re-purchased. (Just trying to use it up in cocktails)

Good but not great. Smooth but that’s not a win-me-over characteristic. For my money there are many others I would keep stocked. I would prefer most Old Foresters over this. Now the Double Wood fits a niche...

This was amazing! Consumed as a neat dram at the Rehearsal Dinner for friend Richard Immel. Nose: balancing act between Sherry & Oak/Sandalwood. Very inviting Palate: buttery soft mouthfeel with notes of dried fruit & dark honey Finish: was a long slow taper that begged for a return sip

My hottest Bourbon to date @ 128.8 Proof. Nose: heavy cinnamon bread, caramelized sugar/creme brûlée Palate: viscous with toasted marshmallow, brown sugar & leather. Rich. Finish: long and the heat is only at the end.

*Part of the Distiller Top Single Barrels under $100* Nose- light toast & light fruit, honey & vanilla Palate- velvety smooth viscosity with sweet Butterscotch & vanilla Finish- light oak but tapers quickly and is short Note: this is not a complex Bourbon but does not disappoint as an easy-drinking, low priced Single Barrel

First trial and I am not impressed, it’s not bad but merely boring. I will leave no tasting notes this time as it was quite one-dimensional. It may be a strict mixer but I will try it neat again for good measure. Presently - not a repeat purchase.

A new rendering of this expression does not live up to my previous experience. Being a Single Barrel Bourbon there can be some fluctuation but this seems pretty dramatic. This bottle is much dryer and high on the ethanol nose & palate. Dropping it 3/4 ⭐️ from its previous score. **Edit - this bottle makes an excellent Old Fashioned though**
