If there’s a “crushable” Laphroaig, this is it. So easy. Vanilla and honey on the nose carries to a sweet palate followed by med- campfire, medicinal, slight seaweed. Short finish.

Tire fire. This is the 10 with extra oil, a touch of plastic, a longer campfire finish and milk chocolate. Tamed sweetness, vanilla. Much longer finish. Having trouble choosing between this and the 10. This is a dram to take some time with. I wanted this to be the 10 with less sweetness but it doesn’t live up to expectations. Nice whiskey. Just not enough.

Simple whisky. Not offensive in any way, but fairly boring all the same. Caramel and apple up front. No complexity. Short finish. This is the equivalent of house wine, though at an elevated price. Wouldn’t buy again. Would buy HP12 or JW Green instead.

Simply put, one of my favourite scotches ever, and likely my top for the price. Fantastic.

Caramel and burnt sugar. Tons of smoke.

Surprised to say this tastes like cherry jam laid on bacon and smoke! Peat and alcohol don’t overpower though. Massive coffee on the finish. Quite simply one of the best scotch whisky’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. The nose is off the charts. A gem.

Excellent and exceeds the hype (for me). Caramel and brown sugar on the nose carried through the palate gives way to honey, cereal and walnut. Would definitely buy again.
