Bruichladdich Black Art 1990 04.1 Edition 23 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 6, 2019 (edited April 16, 2020)Amazing complexity - fruity and sweet from heavy use of Sherry casks but simultaneously there’s a typical Islay saltiness. But it’s more complex than that with an interesting muskiness on the finish. 96 -
Bruichladdich Black Art 1989 03.1 Edition 22 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 6, 2019 (edited May 9, 2020)Incredibly complex with aromas of fruity Sherry and some sweetness, maybe ice wine, as well as brinyness. The finish is incredible with an enhanced version of the sort of muskiness characteristic of Bruichladdich. 96
