New fav of 100+ whiskeys, for a Bourbon & Rye (and now Japanese and bit of Scotch) drinker. Pears and Honey. Better than Hibiki Harmony (only other Japanese so far).

Have a mini. Not as good as Japanese (Yamazaki 12, maybe even Hibiki Harmony). Touch of peat. Maybe better than Macallan in complexity, but prefer parts of Macallan 12 profile (maybe the lack of even little peat, plus its sherry, though prefer something bit less sherried than Macallan 12).

Potent. Harsh finish. Good, different wheater. Like other wheaters, really takes the years to soften (though still not soft enough IMO), so don't waste time on the lesser Rebel Yells. Hard to find. Just released in May in Total Wine after calling all year.

Just a 2 yr MGP Rye (Indiana, dill heavy) like so many others relabeled, and the youngest of them. Don't bother.
