This amaro was a minor revelation. What a perfect blend of sweeter cola notes upfront and herbal bitterness on the backend. Approachable menthol overlay. A blend between Lucano and Montenegro.

Not as good as I remember, but still decent. The apple is subtle and it drinks very similar to a grape brandy. A little bit unclean in finish.

Pretty nice value bourbon. Light vanilla flavours and decently smooth.

Not bad neat. Freaking citrus notes; just a bit pithy. I have not been successful in integrating this gin into cocktails. Classic Malfy or the blood orange variants work better in that regard.

Some sugarcane sweetness upfront though a bit hot and harsh on the backend.

Pretty decent. Some nice molasses sweetness, although it could be more rich. Smooth for an inexpensive rum; great value play. No real burn.

A fairly mild and smooth bourbon. Just a touch of burn and corn mash harshness on the backend, but not bad at all for the price.

Smoother and less abrasive than Cuervo Silver. Has a really nice herbal/vegetal overlay. Clean finish.

Very clean for a cheaper tequila. Some light vegetal notes. A bit of burn.

Heavily peated aroma and strong peat on the palate as well (though less in smell than taste). Some softer vanilla notes in the mid palate before the smoke.
