    Bitter gentian flavour is reminiscent of Suze, but the slight lemon peel and star anise character add layers of complexity and take Chiaro to the next level.

    Quite the dichotomy between a very sweet opening and very bitter finish. Lovely gentian notes. A winner.

    Excellent stuff. Bright orange citrus nose with some spices in support. Does not taste as citrusy as it smells, but has a bit of candied orange sweetness. Finishes with some herbal notes (gentian) and a gentle bitterness. A more sophisticated version of Aperol.

    Sweet caramel upfront and then a decidedly menthol finish that almost has a bit of ginger-level burn. Overall smooth though.

    Sharp. Distinct menthol presence with a bit of ginger burn in the finish. Some orangepeel notes in the mid-palate. Decent, but not my favourite amaro by any stretch. A poor man's Amaro Sibona in some respects.

    Really nice vegetal agave bite. Smooth enough. Good value proposition and great base tequila for cocktails; I want some of that agave bite when I am making a tequila-based drink.

    Beautiful. Soft vanilla character upfront, but enough vegetal agave bite to make it clear that you are drinking tequila. Finishes a touch harsher than I recall.

    Decent for the price point. Has a bit of pleasant vanilla upfront, but finishes a bit rough around the edges. Less vegetal than some tequilas, and I like that vegetal bite. Let's see how it mixes in cocktails.
