Benchmark value rye. Robust with some honey and floral notes in the mid-palate leading into a classic rye spice finish. My go-to.

May be a little bit muted as the bottle has been sitting half-empty for a couple of years. Sweet and smooth with a bit of a honey/floral edge, but not as profoundly spicy as most ryes.

Pretty happy with this one as a good value pick up. A bit sweeter another ryes; I'd swear there is a bit of corn in the mash if the label didn't say otherwise. Finishes with some nice rye spice. Good, but not good enough to displace Rittenhouse as my house rye.

Really impressed with this one. Opens with a delicate sweetness - notes of honey and almost a bit of a stone fruit presence too. Smooth finish; no burn and just a bit of harshness.

Still a benchmark for me. Quintessential spicy rye finish and a rich and robust body.

A bit disappointing. Generic caramelly type sweetness upfront and then some chemical harshness. A bit of pleasant rye spice in the finish, but it fades and leaves that chemical taste lingering.

I'm a fan of this one. Slightly nutty accents to usual vanilla oak flavours upfront. Really nice smoked hickory wood presence on the back-end that really helps elevate this one.

Quite nice. All of the smooth vanilla oak character that I associate with regular Four Roses, but with some added punch. There are some floral/herbal notes, but they aren't as harsh as in some other higher proof bourbons.

Unparalleled for the price point and frankly pretty solid at any price. Complex palate with some delightful dry tobacco ash notes offset against a light honey base. Rye spice bliss in finish.

Sweet with an almost sugary type profile and present but slightly subdued spice. In fairness, I am drinking a bottle that has been open for a while.
