A thing of beauty. Assertive rye spice with just a hint of sweetness from the port to round it out. Deceptively smooth. Drinks perfectly well neat.

This amaro was a minor revelation. What a perfect blend of sweeter cola notes upfront and herbal bitterness on the backend. Approachable menthol overlay. A blend between Lucano, Averna and Montenegro.

Not as good as I remember, but still decent. The apple is subtle and it drinks very similar to a grape brandy. A little bit unclean in finish.

Not bad neat. Striking citrus notes; just a bit pithy. I have not been successful in integrating this gin into cocktails. Classic Malfy or the blood orange variants work better in that regard.
