Found this on clearance for $17.50. Makes an excellent Manhattan and Old Fashioned. Great value at clearance price! I wouldn’t purchase this at SRP of $34 though. Update 6/18/20 Just saw this at Walmart $12.29 clearance. Wow Update 12/23/22 So with the Templeton bottle update I lost track of the fact that I had a couple of bottles of this already. And I must say it’s incredibly easy drinking. A bit light but as another reviewer said, it’s a good whiskey for people who don’t drink whiskey because it’s so inoffensive. It reminds me of a whiskey that sat in a glass with a large cube half melted aka watered down but that’s meant in a good way. I really like this for the price point.

Found this one on sale for $8.99 for a 750ml bottle. Yes you read that right, $8.99 for a full bottle. On to the review... Smell is almost not there nothing sticks out too much on the nose a little sweetness but not overpowering. As I sip it I get a surprisingly, but not so surprisingly smooth touch on the front of my tongue followed by some floral flavoring. Not my favorite, but not bad. Initially goes down smooth but I get a very large dose of alcohol backlash which is unpleasant. Overall for the $8.99 I would certainly purchase again. Even for the $20 regular price I would purchase this if Canadien whiskeys are your thing. Tasting this next to NH Crown it’s in a different league though...minor league that is.

Nice to see something that’s a decent price, limited availability actually, tastes great and has sat on a shelf for more than 10 minutes. This hit shelves a couple weeks ago near me and I think I’m the only one who has bought one so far. I shouldn’t even post this because the goobers around here will buy it all after sharing it all over their Facebook whiskey groups. Hopefully this one lasts at my local store for a while because I’ll be buying more at this price.

This one surprised me. I was expecting a much less flavorful bourbon considering the age and price but it’s actually pretty good. After previously drinking back to back with Redemption’s bourbon this stuff is stellar. No finish but for a 101 proof bourbon it sips like a 80 proof. Smooth. Definitely worth the $23 I spent. Keep it up Hillbilly!

Not happy with this one. Worth no more than $22. I paid $25. Don’t think I’ll buy it again. Batch 27 on the bottle. Update: tried this in an old fashioned, rocks, neat. It’s still garbage.

Bought this a couple months ago and I’m near the bottom of it. After having a straight bourbon immediately before this last tasting I can especially taste the rye. Not a bad bottle and I especially like the actual bottle. May keep it as a decanter.

Good bourbon at a good price point. Had this at a friends when he brought over ingredients for old fashioned’s. Good standard readily available bourbon. I’d buy it.
