Glen Deveron 16 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 6, 2019 (edited September 2, 2021)Good sipping whisky, with no real character. No peat at all. Nose: very fruity, sweet. Cinnamon. Palate: sweet, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel. Gentle oak spice. Aftertaste: pepper first with sweetness, medium length.Landal Residence Duna -
Nose: smokey, sweet fruits, some spice. Palate: builds up after few seconds, sweetness, spiceyness and smoke arrive one after the other. Finish: first spices and smoke are dominant, then smokiness remains a bit longer, after a while gentle sweetness remains. Wonderful, not too heavily peated although, so can be ideal for people who want some challenge but not heavy peat fans.GoodSpirit Whisky & Cocktail Bar

I tried this on a whiskey tasting session with the Teeling ambassador. This is Plantation Rum finished version of the original Teeling Small Batch blended whiskey. Available in selected countries in Europe only. Nose: very nice, fruity. Palate and finish: fruity and spicey. For me more friendly than the original version, but still too harsh at the end, with much more spices than i would expect based on the nose.GoodSpirit Whisky & Cocktail Bar

Teeling Stout Cask (Galway Bay Two Hundred Fathoms Imperial Stout)
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed November 13, 2019 (edited August 5, 2020)This is the Galway Bay brewery, stout beer barrel finish version of Teeling Small Batch. For me this finishing brings some chocolatey or coffee taste into the product. Overwrites the harsh spiceyness of the original product, but complexity remains. For me better than the original blended Teeling or the Jameson Caskmates Stout.GoodSpirit Whisky & Cocktail Bar -
Teeling Single Grain Whiskey
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed November 13, 2019 (edited April 7, 2020)95% corn / 5% malted barley. Distilled in Coffey still to 90+% alcohol, aged in California Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Nose: very sweet (vanilla), gentle spiciness, sometimes cherry. Palate: in sync with nosing, sweet, light. Finish: medium, sweet, then little bit dry/metallic finish with very balanced spices from the wine cask. At the end only pungent spices remain. Good grain whisky, at low price. I enjoyed however Compass Box Hedonism more, it is more refined and balanced.30.0 USD per BottleGoodSpirit Whisky & Cocktail Bar -
Bowmore 10 Year Dark & Intense
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 8, 2019 (edited December 27, 2019)Nose: plum, some briny stuff in background, very low smokiness. Palate: light spices, bitterness, earthy/leathery (?). Finish: light bitterness, short finish, moderate smoke. Overall: very light. Way too low smoke for me for an Islay whisky. My first Bowmore experience and not positive at all. I was expecting more heavy whisky, with much more body.55.0 USD per BottleMaglód -
