Chivas Regal 13 Year Manchester United Special Edition
Blended — Scotland
Reviewed December 30, 2020 (edited January 5, 2021)Very similar to the regular 12 year Chivas but with a little peppery rye kick in the finish. It may add some more complexity to it but my extensive time drinking the 12 leads me to prefer that if given the choice although both are easy to sip and delicious.42.0 USD per Bottle -
My go-to Scotch. Always smooth with a little bit of ice. I've converted many people who claim to not enjoy Scotch with this bottle. It may not be as complex as other Scotches but it is consistent and always accessible. If you're going to have at least one Scotch on hand at all times I highly recommend this one.31.0 USD per Bottle

The high proof definitely shows in the nose and the first sip. A little bit of water or a cube or two and it seems to open up both to reveal standard Bourbon cherry and almond notes with a little vanilla. You get a little pepper kick nearing rye territory on the finish. It's a solid Bourbon, nothing that would blow anyone away but solid at the price point and proof.31.0 USD per Bottle

Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 30, 2020 (edited April 2, 2021)Sweet but not cloying. Extremely easy to drink for 100 proof. Amazing value and I yet to have tasted a rye that matches it although it is admittedly not my favorite type of whiskey. The price point makes it a must have for every bar.25.0 USD per Bottle -
Green Spot Single Pot Still
Single Pot Still — Ireland
Reviewed December 21, 2020 (edited January 22, 2021)Is absolutely the best Irish Whiskey I've ever had. Notes of caramel green apples on the nose also comes through transcendently in the taste with a splash of water or one cube that also almost completely cuts the heat. Of course, it costs a little more, there are plenty of other accessible and tasty Irish Whiskeys out there for a little less but this one is worth every penny. Cheers!64.0 USD per Bottle -
Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye
Other Whiskey — Ireland
Reviewed December 15, 2020 (edited February 10, 2022)Stands out with more complexity than most Irish Whiskey I've had in my life. Add the great price per bottle and I will be keeping this as a staple in my liquor cabinet as an example of what Irish Whiskey is capable of.25.0 USD per Bottle -
